November was a very busy month with work trips, birthday, Thanksgiving, and all the other day to day trappings.  With that being said, got to go to some killer tastings and knock off some great beers this month (and even review a couple too).  I did have a major accomplishment (well, to me anyways) was to finally complete a review from states number 49 & 50 this month.  The US (and DC) are finally completed…onto the World.

Top 5 Beer Reviews for November (well, 7 really):

  • Drie Fonteinen Ode Geuze Golden Blend ~ Gueuze ~ 4.48 /5 Rating
  • Ken Schmidt/Iron Fist/Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout ~ American Double / Imperial Stout ~ 4.48 /5 Rating
  • Lawsons Finest Liquids Session in the Rye ~ Saison /Farmhouse Ale ~ 4.43 /5 Rating
  • Bear Republic Racer 5 ~ American IPA ~ 4.40 /5 Rating
  • Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier ~ Hefeweizen ~ 4.38 /5 Rating
  • Brouwerij Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet ~ Tripel ~ 4.38 /5 Rating
  • Cantillon Gueuze 100% Bio Lambic ~ Gueuze ~ 4.38 /5 Rating

The Un-Top 5 Beer Reviews for November:

  • Crow Peak Brewing Pile O’ Dirt ~ American Porter ~ 3.28 /5 Rating
  • New Holland Ichabod Ale ~ Pumpkin Ale ~ 3.25 /5 Rating
  • Narragansett Lager ~ American Adjunct Lager ~ 3.25 /5 Rating
  • Fargo Brewing Stone’s Throw ~ Scottish Ale ~ 3.03 /5 Rating
  • And the failure of November was Molson Ice ~ American Adjunct Lager ~ 1.85 /5 Rating.

Not every beer will be a whale but someone (intentionally) brought Molson Ice to a party I was at…and I hadn’t even seen this beer in years, so I had to try it.  Regret Ensued.
