You wanted Bruery, You got Bruery

Posted: July 13, 2012 in Rambing on about nothing in particular

As some of you know (or may not know) that I am a huge fan of The Bruery in Placentia CA. I think the beers that the Rue family and Tyler King are producing are always fresh, original and usually very solid.   I have been collecting their beers for almost a full year now and have been getting my balls busted from one of my California trading partners on my ‘so-called’ collection.   Well, since my ‘so-called’ collection has exceeded 50+ bottles, I figured now would be a good time to post a picture of said collection.  So without further delay…

This is just a picture of what I currently have in my basement at the moment.  I actually have a bottle of Barrel Aged Autumn Maple and Anniversary Ale: Fruet en route to help fill it in a little more.  Now, please keep in mind that I do drink these bottles from time to time and am not just a hoarder.  I actually have cracked open and tasted some really solid beers by them in the past including The Wanderer, Bottleworks XII, Hottenroth, Provisions Burly Gourd, 2 Turtle Doves, 3 French Hens and ISO:FT.  Also, before I hear about it, YES, I am aware that the 3 bottles of Cigar City Dos Costas Oeste and Lawsons Acer Quercus are not considered Bruery beers but their name is on it too, so too bad.  Is it the largest collection of all time?  Probably Not.   Is it the largest collection on the eastern side of the Mississippi River???  It very well could be.  Prove that your is bigger…
